Happy Chinese New Year 2021 From Cambodia

As another wonderful year comes to an end, I want to take a moment to greet you a Happy Chinese New Year 2021! May happiness fill your heart and treasures fill the home!

Today I'm going to write just a short post about Chinese New Year.

Chinese New Year is one of the most important celebrations in Cambodia.

I am a Cambodian-Chinese.

So, I also celebrate this festival.

And my family celebrates it every year.

During Chinese New Year, my family actually doesn't do anything special though.

We just stay home, eating, relaxing, texting new year wishes to friends.

Yesterday, my family worshiped our beloved ancestors.

This worship was not a big one.

We only worshiped some fruits.

We didn't worship foods.

Few years ago, we always had foods during Chinese New Year but after we started staying away from our parents, we only had fruits.

Cooking spend much time and we are not good at cooking so we decided not to cook.
