Writing an article is never easy but not impossible. For new scholars, it must be very difficult because they don't know where to start and how to end their article.
I still remember the first time I wrote my Master thesis. It was stressful and exhausted. I didn't have any experiences writing thesis because back to my Bachelor degree I did the exit exam instead of writing thesis.
My Master degree was wonder only after I realized that at least I tried my best to write thesis by myself with strong support from my supervisor. I knew he tried so hard to help me. He told me the sources I could find the data. He sent me articles to read. He helped me install software for running data analysis. He helped me analyzing the results.
I swear I learnt a lot from my Master's Degree than Bachelor's Degree.
Because I know we all always have problems during our academic study. We need help. We need encourage. We need support. Some things we can work and walk alone but some others we can't. Therefore, today I will help you improve writing your research proposal. It works well for Bachelor, Master, and PhD research proposal.

How to write a research content?
1. Title
The title needs to be appealing and meaningful. It reflects the contents of the research proposal.
2. Abstract
Abstract is very important and need to be clear and understandable because it is the first main part of the article that readers will read first before they start reading the other parts. Abstract should present the managerial/social problem that the dissertation aims to address. Abstract also addresses the problem statement such as research objectives and research questions. Abstract must end with key words. 6 key words are at maximum.
3. At most three chapters
Each chapter should begin with a brief introduction to lead the readers to the main contents of that chapter and each chapter should end with a brief summary which capturing the main points of that chapter.
Chapter 1: Introduction
Describe the managerial/social problems and problem statement should be well defined. In this first chapter, we also need to identify research purpose and research questions.
The significant of the research should be sound and with a strong motivation (i.e., the relevance to practice and preferably also to theory).
This introduction chapter should end with a clear outline of the structure of the document.
Chapter 2: Literature review
This chapter is to show the literature on the topic of interest of our research proposal. Literature needs to be relevance to the problem statement and research questions. Furthermore, they must be up-to-date and from good sources such as SAGE, Blackwell, Oxford University Press, authoritative institutes such as World Bank, UNCTAD, IMF.
Your arguments should flow logically and express your own voice, which meant the review should not only summarize the literature but you should provide contrast, compare and combine all your read literature to create one's argument.
The chapter is end with a summary of the main points from the literature and the conceptual model that visualizes the proposed relationships between the variables of interest. This model guides the formulation of the hypotheses in case of explanatory research (quantitative research) and in case of explorative research (qualitative research).
Chapter 3: Methodology
This chapter includes many important points such as:
research strategy
research setting
study population
sampling method
key variables
data collection method (interview, survey, or other methods)
data processing
data analysis and techniques
4. References
References are most of the time appeared in the last part of the research proposal. References should follow the latest version of APA (American Psychological Association) format style.
The research proposal should have a good structure with clear writing style. Grammar should be used in the correct way with no evidence of plagiarism.
